Magnificent Events
On May 3, RBI hosted a welcoming reception for our board of directors. We are excited and delighted to welcome nine board members to our extraordinary organization. Find out more about the board of directors on the "About Us" tab.
On May 17, the Louis Vuitton store located on Chicago's Magnificent Mile, invited our young women to be apart of a Fashion Breakfast, which was full of learning and luxury. The young ladies learned the history, inspiration and retail experience behind one of the world's most iconic trendsetter and designer. On behalf of RBI, we would like to thank Store Director Tessa Gillenwater and her entire staff for allowing our young women to encounter such an amazing and unique fashion learning opportunity.
Beauty Thoughts
Sometimes we don't realize how a gesture, smile, hug or simply time can mean to our youth. Much too often, our youth grow up in homes where there are unaddressed needs or worse, love is not displayed. This was never more real to me than during the Fashion Breakfast at the Luis Vuitton store. "I have never seen or been to this part of the city. I enjoyed this and want to experience this more often; it's nice." These two sentences were told to me as I was waiting for a parent to pick up their daughter.
